Founding member of Pink Floyd, Roger Waters, has criticised former Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher for polices that led to the Falklands War with Argentina.

Thats not entirely true as a lot of Scottish Lairds sold their countrymen down the river to appease the English.. The Irish were not exctly colonized either and lets not forget it was the English hierachy who did this not the people.

He’s a clown. Argentinians politicians have used The Falklands as a political football & rallying point for many decades – the whole Argentinian population is brainwashed by years of propaganda.
By contrast hardly anyone in Britain even knew where The Falklands was until The Argentinians illegally invaded it. Sure – after Argentina started a War that got 1000 soldiers killed British politicians have responded to understandable public outrage, but Waters has got it all backwards. Damn fool.

Falklands were bought by Spain from France, in 1766. It’s true that they had been ocupated by Britain before. But they had been abandoned. When Argentina got independient, it inheritated them by UTI POSSIDETIS IURI right. Then, in 1833, they’ve been invaded by Britain. Britain talks about adquisitive prescription, but aplies it since 1833, an ilegal invation. Anyway, we’re in XXI century, we’ve been through 2 world wars. It’s a shame that Britains are sending nuclear submarines to Falklands.
